With great pleasure we announce that the performers of the third annual concert of Las Américas en Conciertoare Miranda Cuckson, violin and Yegor Shevtsov, piano.
These exceptional musicians are well-known for their nuanced, sensitive and expressive virtuoso performances. They will play a selection by composers from the 20th and 21st centuries. The concert will include, among others, six world premieres, two USA premieres and three New York premieres.
The program will feature music by Diego Luzuriaga (Ecuador), Carolina Noguera Palau (Colombia), Ursula Mamlok (USA), Allen Shawn (USA), Marcela Rodriguez (Mexico), Jay Fluellen (USA), Leonardo Idrobo (Colombia), Heidi Jacob (USA), Camilo Mendez (Colombia), Julio Racine (Haiti), Natalia van Hissenhoven (Argentina-Colombia), and Erik Lundborg (USA), Alba Potes (Colombia-USA), and Juan Orrego Salas (Chile).
